The standard of all the entries was very high, with excellent vegetables displayed by all gardeners.  The addition of photos of the food growing in competitors gardens was a telling factor for the winners.

rediscovering the countryThe film 'Rediscovering the Country' promoting landscape restoration made by Ballarat Region Treegrowers/Australian Forest Growers and She Oaks Films will have its local launch in Ballarat on 4 July, 12.30pm.

The launch location is the ground floor lecture theatre in the Old Chemistry Building on the City Campus of Federation University. BYO lunch.

Simon Ramsay, MLC for the Western Province of Victoria's state parliament, will launch the film.
