BREAZE is still excited that we have completed this project as it represents exactly what we stand for – increased renewable energy and reduced emissions but with even more benefits than those.

The $36,000 raised allowed the installation of a 30 kW rooftop solar power system at Ballarat Regional Industries' Walker Street facility. The installation will ensure BRI operates on renewable energy! saves money on power costs and has capacity to employ more people with disabilities. The donated funds of $23,000 are being provided to BRI as an interest free loan, to be repaid over a long period, which in turn will allow BREAZE to fund more community renewable energy projects.

Ballarat Regional Industries (BRI) is a not for profit organization providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

BREAZE received donations from members, businesses, school student fundraising initiatives, the Rainbow Serpent Festival Committee and many other individuals.

Peter Lambert DesigndBREAZE thanks the many donors who have shown their commitment to reducing Ballarat's greenhouse gas emissions. This project will reduce emissions by an estimated 483 tonnes of Carbon dioxide over the next 15 years

BREAZE also acknowledges the valuable contribution made by AC-Accounting-logoPeter Lambert Design and Chris Murphy from AC Accounting in the development of this project.
