BREAZE Local A priority project for 2009/2010 is to establish the “BREAZE Local”. Principally a retail outlet for BREAZE members, the Local will offer a range of locally grown and produced food and other sustainable products that have limited food miles[1] or carbon footprint in their production, transport and use. As a producer or supplier of goods produced locally, BREAZE invites you to provide us with details of your products and business practices so we can assess them for suitability for sale to our members.
[1] Food miles - Every mile/kilometre your food travels means more greenhouse gas emissions. The closer to home your food comes from with the least packaging, the lower the emissions (and zero from your own garden!) |
