As we decide who we're going to vote for in the 2010 election, BREAZE, together with a number of other climate groups, has cast a ruler over the three major parties and their climate policies. The results may make you re-think your vote.*

If you vote for either of the two dominating parties - the ALP or the coalition - you'll be voting for policies that will make the environment worse. If you want to see pollution decrease and renewable energy increase, you won't be find this in either of their parties' policies.

Don't take our word for it, have a look at other 'scorecards' that rate the policies of the three major parties...


BREAZE takes the 'Vote Climate' message to the streets of Ballarat

Fifty BREAZE volunteers distributed ‘Vote Climate’ scorecards to 10,000 homes around Ballarat for the federal election over the weekend.

“The scorecards clearly show that neither the ALP nor coalition is taking the issue of climate change seriously,” said BREAZE Community Campaigner, Andrew Bray.

Candidates Forum - Wednesday 11 August

An audience of 40 members of the Ballarat community gathered on to hear candidates for the upcoming federal election present their parties' policies on climate change and the environment. Catherine King, the sitting ALP member and Belinda Coates, the Greens candidate attended and answered questions from the floor.
