Are you new to Permaculture or need more Information?
Permaculture is a means to bringing a true sustainable lifestyle to your home and community. It is an ingenious design system based on working in harmony with nature.
Permaculture has been defined as: "..the harmonious integration of landscape and people, providing their food, energy, shelter and other material and other non-material needs in a sustainable way" (Bill Mollison)
If Permaculture is new to you, this Permaculture FAQ outlines some of the strategies Permaculture offers towards building a more sustainable and locally resilient future.
European research has shown that households growing their own food is the most effective strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Growing your own food is a critical part of increasing household and community resilience in the face of climate change and peak oil. Unfortunately, many people have lost the basic skills and knowledge needed to grow their own food. We can change this!
