Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions on how to deal with a mold problem we have on south facing walls in our house.
It is a brick veneer house and we are getting some substantial mold problems in the bedrooms. This is even with active ventilation of one of the rooms during the daytime, with warm/heated outside air. I suspect we have some condensation happening on the plaster board, caused by the cold temperature of the board and the high humidity in the room from our breathing. Tried using a significant amount of dehumidifying crystals, made no difference.
Suspect that only thing can really do about it is to get the wall insulated, and that is not a trivial or cheap thing to do.
Any suggestions?
