EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR VOLUNTEERING AT UPCOMING EVENTS
One of the important roles of the BREAZE Local Food Group in the past has been to attend community events and inform the wider community about the importance of adopting a 'Local Food Philosophy' for environmental, personal, social and economical reasons.
Much of the information required to present an interesting and informative display already forms part of the 'My Food' display at Smart Living Ballarat and on the website www.smartlivingballarat.org.au (please check it out if you haven't already). . .but the success of being involved in these types of events depends on the help of enthusiastic volunteers.
If you think you would like to be involved in organising or attending either of these events we would love to hear from you. It's a fantastic way to get involved and meet new people (especially if you're new to Ballarat).
You don't have had any previous experience, just a little bit of free time and energy and some enthusiasm to talk about some of the things that BREAZE and the local food group are and could be doing.
