2009 - Ballarat Region Best Organic Home-Grown Vegetable Competition

Wendouree Primary School Kitchen Garden

The people at BREAZE love local food. The less distance food travels from where it has grown to where it is eaten means less greenhouse gas emissions. And you can’t get any closer than your own backyard. BREAZE want to promote the joy of gardening and eating homegrown so we are sponsoring this competition. All we ask is a small collection of your fresh home grown vegetables tastefully arranged. Perhaps an artichoke bouquet framed with rocket, or green broad beans contrasting vibrant orange carrots.
