Pot Luck dinners are almost always held on the third Friday night of the month. They are a BYO affair and celebrate good local food, good company and are a relaxed way to meet other people passionate about growing thier own vegies and doing their bit for the environment in Ballarat.

BREAZE foodies who enjoy Indian and Middle Eastern foods have found that Preserving Lemons is pretty straight forward.
The lemons are pickled in salt and their own juices for at least three weeks before the lemons are ready to use.

In Septemebr 2008, our local Ballarat ABC Radio station was involved in a "Locavore Challenge", and reporter Jarrod Watt posted a series of stories as he investigated and lived what it meant to be a Locavore in Ballarat.
