The National Centre for Sustainability at Ballarat University is offering the Diploma of Sustainability in Ballarat beginning in April 2012. This a nationally recognised qualification. Many new work opportunities which incorporate sustainability are emerging across a range of industries. Our graduates can be found in a variety of occupations such as manufacturing, retail, child care, building, local government, teaching, horticulture and more, that use the skills and knowledge that the Diploma of Sustainability provides. The NCS-UB is now accepting applications for the Diploma of Sustainability which is scheduled to begin on Tuesday April 17 at the University of Ballarat - Primary Industries Training Centre (cnr Gilles St & Gregory St, Ballarat). The Diploma has been designed to be studied concurrently with studies in another program (Diploma level or above) or can be added to existing qualifications. Those with no existing qualifications may also apply and will achieve a tatement of Attainment. The course fees range from $1000 to full payment of $2689 depending eligibility for assistance or exemptions (Vet fee help or Govt exemptions). The relevant application documents are attached.
