The BIG Picture - for a Safe Climate International Day of Climate Action
350.org is an ambitious global collaboration that will see over 1570 (and growing!) individual actions take place around the globe on October 24. From Denver to Dar es Salaam, the message will be delivered loud and strong.
Ballarat's contribution will be a spectacular human sign showing our support for action on climate change. A festival atmosphere of music, performance & fun will kick off with the formation of our human sign & will continue throughout the afternoon. Get involved: provide music and entertainment, bring a picnic lunch, meet more concerned people in Ballarat. And wear something blue!
These are just some of the things you can do to help make this a BIG turnout for Ballarat:
bring some of your own personal flair to the planning of the day
contact and liaise with community groups around Ballarat
media, publicity and web site
assisting on the day with marshalling, music, just comin' along

What is a human sign?
Human signs are great fun, relatively easy to do if you are organised. They generate a lot of conversation about climate change, engage your local community and most importantly stimulate action. Clean Energy for Eternity have now organised over 40 human signs. The following link provides some great examples and information on human signs -
